For September, I hosted the Flowers and Mushrooms ATC Swap. So far, this one was the most fun for me. I really enjoyed the drawing the mushrooms. I mentioned this swap in the post with the stringy flower freebies. What I used for the ATC Swap is available in the WBCM Facebook group to use and now here. If you’d like to use the mushrooms and flowers, the file is attached to the post.
All the colored images were drawn and watercolored on bookpage. I then scanned and cut them because I couldn’t bring myself to use the originals. I don’t know why.
The theme for this project came from a crafty friend. She sent me a video to watch and it happened to have an artist drawing and watercoloring mushrooms. I thought this would be a cool idea. I took it a step further, watched more videos and ran into fodder collaging. I think I mentioned that in the other post as well. I also heard Ms. Kari of Kari’s Mixed Media, here on Patreon and on YouTube say something about it while watching one of her videos. The process is so fun and simple, you can get carried away once you start.
