It’s Day 19, the last day of school, a week before the Thanksgiving holiday, and another step forward. When stepping forward, you’re focused on the things to come and not the things that hold you back. You think about all opportunities, blessings, and successes, not the mistakes you made. A lesson lived is a lesson learned, right? Let it go.
If you put the amount of time into focusing on what makes you a better person as you do something harmful or that hurts you, you’d be in a better place. It’s so easy to be upset or frown because it gets you nowhere but where misery wants you. But, on the other hand, when you take the time to smile and be happy, your environment and those around you favor you. So, if it takes a little time to train yourself to focus, work at it, it’s worth it. Learn to lose the distractions and leave what doesn’t work where it’s standing.
As you sit back, take a deep breath, and relax, think about what you’re most focused on.
